Ithaca's 'Mr. Radio' is retiring

For four decades Tom Joseph has been known to listeners in Ithaca as "Mr. Radio." Joseph, who is director of operations at Eagle Broadcasting, is retiring from radio after 43 years.

Joseph's radio career started in 1962 at WHCU AM/FM which were owned by Cornell University at the time. He is currently in charge of operations at WYXL-FM, WQNY-FM, WTKO-AM and WHCU-AM.

According to Joseph, 62, "It's time to let someone else get up in here."
