New Morning Co-Anchor Arrives at WKTV

UTICA -- News Channel 2 (WKTV) has named Maryland native Janel Boston as the NBC affiliate's new morning co-anchor. She comes from the MyNetwork TV affiliate in Baltimore -- the same market (but not the same station) where former WKTV morning co-anchor Megan Koskovich accepted a producing job in March.

WKTV's Don Shipman Gets Married

UTICA -- Our congratulations to WKTV anchor Don Shipman, who got married over the weekend.  According to the NBC affiliate, Shipman and longtime partner Adam Lawless have been planning their big day for quite awhile -- and New York State's recent legalization of same-sex marriages finally allowed their plans to become a reality.
