Dick Mastriano exits mornings at Oldies 1050

SYRACUSE -- Longtime local broadcaster Dick Mastriano has been let go from his post as morning host for Oldies 1050 (WSEN).  Management at the station, owned by Leatherstocking Media Group, confirms for CNYRadio.com that Mastriano's duties will be absorbed by another staffer as a result of budget-tightening.

WSEN Trades Casey's 70s Countdowns for the 80s

SYRACUSE -- Fans of CNYRadio.com have pointed out that WSEN-FM 92.1 traded in its collection of Casey Kasem's American Top 40 shows from the 1970s, instead airing AT40 shows which originally aired during the 1980s.  It's part of the station's effort to modernize its overall playlist.
