SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse Crunch, the AHL team which recently switched its NHL affilation from the Anaheim Ducks to the Tampa Bay Lightning, have named Dan D'Uva as the team's new radio voice. D'Uva replaces Jason Lockhart, who called the team's games for the past two seasons.
SYRACUSE -- As the Syracuse Crunch's playoff bid ended on Friday at the hands of the Ice Caps in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, so did Jason Lockhart's two-season run as the AHL team's broadcaster. Next season, Lockhart will be on the west coast, calling games for a different team in a different league.
SYRACUSE -- A lingering question for Syracuse Crunch fans has been answered: the AHL team has named its new play-by-play announcer. He's Jason Lockhart, a 27-year-old who previously called games in the ECHL, and worked three seasons before that with the NHL's New York Islanders.
