But now, there’s a timeline in place for the changes: he’ll be out no later than March 31. But he’ll remain involved as Chairman of Clear Channel’s Board of Directors.

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Nearly a year after his brother Randy gave up the presidency of Clear Channel, Mark Mays has announced he’s resigning as the company’s CEO. Clear Channel owns six stations in the Syracuse market, including three of the top five stations according to the latest publicly-available ratings P12+.
SAN ANTONIO — Randall Mays is no longer President and CFO of CC Media Holdings, according to a document filed this morning with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Randall’s brother Mark, the company’s CEO, is now also serving as interim CFO until a permanent replacement is named.
SAN ANTONIO, TX — CC Media Holdings, Inc. released its first quarter earnings report for 2009 today, and — similar to last week’s reports from Regent and Citadel — the results are not positive. The nation’s largest radio group says revenue fell 23% compared to last year’s first quarter — and the company also posted a $428 million loss. |
