SYRACUSE — Popular announcer Dusty Rhodes will be back on the Syracuse airwaves in May, hosting a four-part series entitled Syracuse Radio in the Fifties on WCNY-HD2. Installments of the program are scheduled to air on Sunday afternoons, starting May 2.

Longtime WCNY-FM personality and manager Don Dolloff has announced his retirement, effective October 7th. The retirement date coincides with the end date for Classic FM’s current pledge drive.
This Sunday, WCNY FM 91.3 airs a special edition of Bluegrass Ramble in honor of the show’s 30th anniversary.
Central New York’s only classical music station got a big thumbs up from its listeners during a recent membership campaign. CLASSIC FM raised over $60,000, money that will help pay the public radio station’s operating expenses. |
